Sapele, Okoume, Iroko, Padouk Wood, Okan. Global Trading Company Ltd owns 30 Forest Management Units (UFA) located in the South Cameroon region and the South west part of Cameroon. To these are added two other concessions, the fruit of a partnership.
On 800,534 hectares of area, approximately 100,500 hectares are exploited each year.
Global Trading Company Ltd produces an average of 20,000 m 3 of logs per month, 70% of which is processed in the Ebolowa and Douala sawmill.
The remaining part is exported in the form of logs or delivered locally to partner companies. In 2017, the Global Trading Company Ltd produced 800,146 m 3 of timber.

Global Trading Company Ltd harvesting unit is a unit created to serve the industry, with over 20 years’ experience in delivering the very latest harvesting solutions for forests and woodlands, for both public and private owners. We cover felling and hauling.
We have harvested more than 900,000 cubic meters of wood in Cameroon, Gabon and Chad. Our mission is to maximize the returns from every single contract we undertake.
We pride ourselves on being a tight-knit team operating in an area where skill, attention to detail, an awareness of the environment and the health & safety risks involved (and their mitigation) are at a premium.
We work to your timetable and take pride in maintaining the integrity of woodland activities, such as shooting, game rearing, local wildlife, flora and fauna.
Our operators are professional, polite and considerate of the area in which they are working. We always do our best to preserve roads and forest roads , as we understand how essential these are to the owner and the public.
FELLING SERVICES
Slaughter is an essential step in our business. We work with high-performance equipment and fell trees in accordance with the cycles of the rise and fall of their sap, especially hardwoods.
Two felling techniques can be used: Chainsaw logging for trees with a large circumference (greater than 50 cm diameter) Harvesting with a special machine called a "harvester" for trees of lower circumferences of the trees and the land that lend themselves For trees near power lines or fences, we do the wiring and guide the tree during its fall.
Our company promotes the use of lightweight materials and adapts its work to the weather, so as not to damage the soil.
