WOOD DESCRIPTION
Bark: brownish, often spotted with white lichen spots, rough, with rounded scales leaving brown spots.
Sapwood: Rosy white, 3-5 cm.
Wood: rosé darkening in the air.
Log diameter: 80 to 100 cm.
USES
Cabinetmaking (luxury furniture), sliced veneer, paneling, plywood, fine carpentry, exterior coverings, interior furnishings and fittings, shipbuilding (planks and decks), light boat hulls, light frame.
